Printing Paper Newsletters

You decide how long your paper newsletter should be. Most clients start with a two-page or four-page newsletter, published monthly or quarterly.

Newsletters are usually the size of regular, letter-sized paper. A two-page newsletter would be one 8½" x 11" sheet printed on both sides. A four-page newsletter would be one 11" x 17" sheet of paper printed on both sides and folded in half to make a letter-sized booklet. Longer newsletters are also letter-sized and require a staple to hold the pages together.

We have a wide variety of layouts and printing options. Alternatively, have the newsletter produced by your favorite printer.

At low volumes under 1,000 copies, we typically use special newsletter paper. Newsletter paper is pre-printed with color frames and borders. The contents of the newsletter are photocopied directly on this paper in black to make an inexpensive two- or four-page newsletter. If you want custom newsletter paper, it can be offset printed in bulk, then each issue can be photocopied on the custom paper. Color copying is available, at more expense.

At higher volumes, we have the newsletter offset printed. The cost depends on the number of copies. You may want to make extra copies to give to prospects.

Distributing Paper Newsletters

Paper newsletters are usually mailed out. Extra copies can be given directly to prospects and clients when you see them.

Newsletters printed on special, heavy paper can be folded in half, sealed, and mailed without an envelope.

Two-page newsletters can be folded in thirds and included with invoices or statements.

Newsletters longer than two pages can be folded in half and mailed in 6" x 9" envelopes. You can mail them separately or insert them in your regular mailings.

If you do not yet have a mailing list, we will help you develop one. Data entry services are also available.

You can mail the newsletters yourself. Or ask us to arrange this service.

Newsletters can be emailed, too. To reach everyone, you may want to make a paper newsletter, then email it, too. See E-newsletters.
